This delightful stone built thatched cottage is surrounded by farmland, just five miles from the historic town of Lismore. In an elevated position, this Lismore cottage has stunning views, which will take your breath away, plus this character cottage has exposed beams and whitewashed stone walls, an ideal Irish rural retreat. This Lismore cottage is split with the main thatched building consisting of the living quarters and main bedroom, with further sleeping quarters in a barn conversion, just across the small courtyard, perfect for families or friends that wish for a little more privacy. On chilly evenings, why not sit in front of either of the woodburners and discuss the following day's activities, whilst in warmer times, you can dine al fresco in the large garden area, or lounge in one of the hammocks in the orchard; perfect for relaxing on after a busy day exploring the area. There is something for everyone in the area, from hill walking, fishing and golf to exploring Lismore and the city of Waterford. This Lismore cottage is wonderful at any time of year.

Previous visitors' comments about Mick Moore’s Cottage :
Mick Moore's Cottage is a beautiful thatched cottage (and converted barn) -
we had a very happy holiday there and would recommend it to others. There
were 5 of us and we were very comfortable - we could have been equally comfortable if we had been 6! The kitchen is such a snug cosy room we hardly used the sitting room at all - just sat round the table and the warming wood burning stove. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and it is a very good kicking off point for wonderful walks, beautiful gardens and places of interest. Do go there!
