The Smithy is a detached single storey cottage, in a great location for visitors to the Ring of Kerry, as it is just off the main Ring of Kerry road, with plenty of walking trails accessible from the doorstep. Adventurers may wish to take a boat to Skellig Michael and attempt the challenging climb, with the reward of wonderful views over the ocean from the 7th century monastery.
