This charming little mid-terrace holiday home is set near Cahersiveen on the Iveragh Peninsula, only a short walk from the amenities on the high street. This is a wonderful base, ideal for a couple or a small family to explore County Kerry. There are two bedrooms, a double bedroom which benefits from an additional pull-out stacker bed and a children’s room with a single bed. Also in the property is a kitchen with dining area and a welcoming sitting room with an open fire that you can curl up in front of with a good book chosen from the bookcase and enjoy some quiet time to yourself. A shower room and an enclosed garden complete this wonderful accommodation. The lawned garden provides a safe place for children to play, whilst you relax, after a busy day exploring, with a refreshing drink. Just a short stroll from the door are Cahersiveen’s amenities, with the coast also nearby. Guests can enjoy wandering around the town’s marina or perhaps even a visit to Portmagee to venture on boat trips to Skellig Michael and the Skellig Islands where parts of Star Wars: The Force Awakens were filmed. This area provides many walking opportunities, and the whole of the Iveragh Peninsula boasts plentiful lakes, woodlands and beaches along the coastline. Only an hour’s drive away is the beautiful and picturesque Killarney National Park which is a fabulous spot to visit with many walks on offer, as well as there being plentiful photo opportunities and picnic spots for a lovely alfresco lunch break. On the drive to Killarney National Park, make sure you take the route so you can enjoy the stunning Gap of Dunloe. This route runs between the impressive Purple Mountain and the Macgillycuddy's Reeks and is sure to provide views which will linger long in the memory. This cosy little cottage provides guests with a perfect holiday base to return to after taking in the spectacular surrounding scenery that this busy town has to offer.
