The property

This detached cottage is situated close to both the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way, just over a mile from the coastal village of Waterville. This lovely cottage serves as a superb base for families looking to discover the fabulous countryside around County Kerry. All on the ground floor, the cottage has a kitchen with a comfy sitting area and a solid fuel stove, which will keep you warm after a day out and about. Relax over dinner in the separate dining room where you can play board games, or just chat about what a wonderful holiday you are having. Two double bedrooms and a family shower room are also on the ground floor, so it isn’t too far to walk to get a good night’s sleep. At the rear of the cottage is a lawned garden where you can relax with a glass of something refreshing as the kids run around in safety. Take the short stroll to Lough Currane and visit the archaeological site on Church Island, or head to the superb local golf courses offering fantastic views. Waterville is a popular village on Ballinskelligs Bay, set on the Ring of Kerry, one of Ireland’s magnificent coastal routes. Take a boat trip and explore the Skellig Islands, or on Lough Currane, which also offers some of the best salmon and trout fishing in Europe. Further afield, is the village of Glenbeigh and the beach at Rossbeigh is a must-visit destination. This delightful cottage is a wonderful base for exploring County Kerry.
