The open plan feel to this delightful Manorhamilton cottage makes it easier for you to all spend time together, so whether you are in the kitchen, the dining room or the sitting room, you can all enjoy each other’s company. Relax on the comfortable sofas and enjoy the flames of the open fire while the adults partake in a cold glass of wine and the children enjoy a mug of hot chocolate! Outside this wonderful Leitrim cottage you can enjoy the front patio garden with furniture and start your day in the fresh Leitrim air with a cup of tea while you watch the children playing happily in the morning sunshine. Manorhamilton is a small town in North Leitrim but offers plenty of culture. If you visit in August, you can enjoy The Wild Rose and Thorn Festival which offers talent competitions, on-street gigs and plenty of entertainment for everyone. You also have the Glens Centre which also hosts a varied line-up of visiting acts throughout the year. Places of interest include the ruins of Manorhamilton Castle, the Leitrim Sculpture Centre and the public square which sits adjacent to the castle and offers outdoor performances. Further afield, you have the wonderful city of Sligo. Being one of the most picturesque places in all of Ireland, it boasts rugged landscapes and is a walker’s haven.
