It is bustling and full of atmosphere and festivals, and nestled on the edge of Clew Bay with its hundreds of offshore islands, and lying under the shadow of majestic Croagh Patrick mountain. Spend a day beachcombing at Old Head beach, enjoy a meal in Westport's many restaurants or relax with a pint in the traditional pubs. Travel to the Museum of Country Life at Turlough.
