This lovely spacious semi-detached cottage adjoins the owner’s home and is situated close to local amenities in the village of Cliffoney in County Sligo. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way and offering views to Classiebawn Castle and the sea beyond, Slieve Bawn View is in an ideal location for exploring the northwest of Ireland, and with a variety of attractions and miles of coastline, there’s plenty to please the whole family! The cottage features a spacious and tastefully decorated open plan living area, with a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing hearty family meals, a dining area and a comfortable sitting area - a great social area for the whole family to gather. After a busy day at the seaside, warm up in the separate sitting room in front of the open fire, making plans for the following day’s adventures. Retire to one of the three comfortable bedrooms, with a shower room completing the accommodation. Children can play in the lawned garden to the front of the cottage, while grownups relax on the patio, enjoying a cool drink and admiring the lovely far-reaching views. There are even chickens that live at the end of the garden, which guests can make friends with! The village of Cliffoney has some lovely craft shops and local pubs where you will regularly hear traditional Irish music as you walk past. The village is in a stunning location, with the Dartry Mountains on one side, and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean on the other. The beautiful beaches of Sligo have something for everyone, the more adventurous can try their hand at surfing, or for a more peaceful time, relax on the sand or paddle on the edge of the water. Within easy reach is Glencar Waterfall, the Slieve League Cliffs and Glenveague National Park. A lovely cottage in a breathtaking location, a place to make lasting memories!
