Tipperary Thatched Cottages

These four lovely thatched cottages are set amongst a group of 12 properties in the centre of the pretty village of Puckane in County Tipperary. All properties boast an open fire and two are detached, with the others being semi-detached. Also, one is a two-bed property, situated all on the ground floor, and the others are three-bed holiday homes, plus the actor Gene Kelly once stayed in these properties whilst holidaying in the area. The local pub and shop area is only a minute walk away and the vibrant town of Nenagh is just a ten minute drive for further shopping, where you can also visit Nenagh Castle. Puckane is situated close to Lough Derg where water enthusiasts and fans of fishing are spoilt for choice. Guests can enjoy taking a stroll along one of the many walking trails or enjoy a boat trip to absorb your pleasant surroundings from a different perspective. With excellent motorway links, the cultural city of Limerick is within easy driving distance and boasts King Johns Castle or the Hunt Museum. For further day trips the beautiful County Clare is not too far away, where you can visit the bustling town of Ennis or the spectacular Cliffs of Moher.
