The Property

This delightful, single storey Ballinrobe cottage is situated in a superb location, on the very edge of the famous Lough Mask, on the Burkes Island Peninsula, 6 miles from the lively market town of Ballinrobe, County Mayo. This spacious and comfortable Ballinrobe cottage has large rooms and a welcoming feel. The dining room has superb views over the lough, while the sitting room boasts a cosy woodburner, ideal for curling up in front of on long evenings. The patio outside this Ballinrobe cottage looks directly over the lough, so when you are enjoying a romantic dinner, or family meal alfresco, you can make the most of your stunning surroundings. For family fun, there is a slipway, allowing easy access to the lough, so whether you wish to go swimming, or bring your own boat, this waterside Ballinrobe cottage is great for you. If you do not have your own, the owner offers a boat, engine and lifejackets to hire, so on a calm, balmy evening, when the children have gone to bed, you can set out on a romantic boat ride across the lough, making the most of the views as you watch the sun set on your wonderful day.
