The Property

This traditional, single storey Connemara cottage is just a few minutes' walk to the sea and just 10 minutes' walk to the pub in Rosmuc, in the heart of Connemara, County Galway. This Connemara cottage dates back to the 1800s, and has been tastefully renovated and modernised to combine tradition, character and contemporary features including the stable-type door, stone floors, butler sink and cosy woodburner, making for a great Connemara cottage. Surrounded by 25 acres of rugged Galway countryside, this Connemara cottage boasts rural views from all aspects, so sitting in the garden to enjoy the views is a must, and whether it's a sunny summer's day, balmy spring morning or blustery autumn afternoon, the beautiful landscape will have a visual treat in store for you. If you fancy a walk, perhaps traverse the numerous acres and dip your toes in the cooling sea water and feel its chill lap at your feet, instantly cooling you down on a hot day. Previous visitors' comments about Rosmuc Cottage:

Thank you for an absolutely amazing stay at Rosmuc Cottage. It was immaculate, and the owner was also wonderful. :)
Mr Collings, Thatcham, May 2011

Wonderfully warm welcome. Great garden, all enclosed, for our dog. Plenty of parking space.
Mrs McCrindle, Maybole, October 2010

A haven of peace and tranquility. Very friendly pub/garage/shop. Coastline through gate beautiful and shared only with a few cows. Attention to detail in equipping cottage was second to none. A lot of care and attention had been applied.
Mr Boyland, Leicester, September 2010
