Lough Corrib, the second largest fresh water lake in Ireland, is just a short drive from your Oughterard cottage and offers many opportunities for fishing, viewing the stunning wildlife and taking a lake cruise. Close to your Oughterard cottage is fabulous walking on the Western Way, a championship golf course, the historic Galway City, and the surrounding counties of Mayo and Clare, so after a rewarding day discovering this beautiful part of Ireland, you can return home, immerse yourself in the Jacuzzi bath and reflect on your truly relaxing break.
