A fully renovated, traditional, detached Sligo cottage situated on a working livestock farm with cows in the field, in the quiet townland of Ardtermon, on the Raghley Peninsula, County Sligo. This Sligo cottage has been the family home of the owner for many generations, and has been beautifully renovated to make a wonderful Sligo cottage holiday that friends and families can enjoy. The renovation that this Sligo cottage has undergone has seen it furnished and decorated in the Irish Country style, and retains many traditional features including the woodburner, which is situated in a lovely feature fireplace. Situated on the Raghley Peninsula, this Sligo cottage offers awe-inspiring views across the yard towards Knocklane and the beautiful Donegal Mountains, wonderful if you are sitting out in the garden, relaxing, enjoying a cool and refreshing ice cream on a hot sunny day. If it's a beach getaway you're looking for from your Sligo cottage holiday, Castlegrange Farm is ideal; with direct access to the beach across the owner's land, it won't be long before you are stretching out on the sand, with a relaxing day ahead of you. Previous visitors' comments about Castlegrange Farm:
Excellent location for a get away from it all break. House is recently refurbished and very comfortable, traditional with all mod cons. Best of all is private access to Ardtermon Strand which is ideal for a walk or to let the kids run free and explore rock pools. Very close to Sligo and other attractions like Rosses Pt and Lough Gill. Yeats's grave is nearby and worth a visit. Really enjoyed and would recommend this to anyone interested in holidaying in Sligo.
