The lovely, coastal village of Annagry is located in west Donegal, close to Donegal Airport. Boasting an award winning Blue Flag sandy beach and a traditional thatched pub, it is an ideal location for discovering this part of Ireland. Charter a boat and try fishing off Donegal, or sail over to one of the many islands off the county, such as Cruit, Owey or the Aran Islands, and discover some of Ireland's long history. A 30 minute drive will take you to the beautiful Glenveagh National Park in the heart of the Derryveagh Mountains; with 16,000 acres to explore it is a walker’s paradise. Annagry is a lovely village all year round.

Explore the surrounding 19 acre landscape and lake, and relax with dinner and a glass of wine in the garden in the evening, taking in the countryside and sea views. Enjoy a walk along the coastal path, just 2 miles from the cottage, perhaps try horse riding in the local area, or enjoy a drink in the local, thatched pub. A short drive will take you to the ferry port for the Aran Islands, where you can see true Irish tradition, or travel a little further and enjoy Glenveagh National Park where beauty abounds. A wonderful Ireland cottage, and a perfect base for discovering County Donegal and all it has to offer.
