The Property

A lovely cottage, the smaller of three on this site, situated around a pretty courtyard on the owner's working livestock farm, 1 mile from the village of Boolavogue, and only 5 miles from the small town of Ferns, in lovely County Wexford. Cosy and quaint, Tober Beag has quirky, character features including the paddock door, open fire and the pretty circular window. This Ferns cottage is wonderful for couples seeking a romantic getaway, with the country-style kitchen, light rooms and open plan living. On warm mornings, open the top of the paddock door as you cook breakfast, looking out onto the shared courtyard at the front, before sitting down together to start the day with a hearty feast, and with so much to do in the area, you'll need all the energy you can get! The coastal resort of Courtown is only a short drive away and has a record for the highest levels of sunshine in Ireland, so why not take a stroll along the harbour, watching the pretty boats as they bob about in the water, and hearing the seagulls swoop and dive, playing about with one another? Or perhaps enjoy a picnic by the shores of the Owenavarro River, before heading back to your Ferns cottage to light a fire and enjoy a romantic evening together - wonderful! This property can be booked with ref 3943 and 4557 to accommodate 21.
