Pear Tree Cottage is a 200-year-old cottage located in the Brookhall Estate, in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
The main house the cottage is attached to dates back 400 years, and was burned in 1641, then restored near 1750 by the Watson family.
Inside the cottage there is an open-plan fitted kitchen and living room with an electric log-effect fire, as well as a comfy sofa and TV, ideal for a romantic night in.
It has an attractive house-shaped, white bookcase with many books and quirky farm animal ornaments which show off the country feel of the property.
The kitchen is in a country style, with a Belfast sink, wooden worktops and stocked with all the appliances you could need.
There is one double bedroom with a skylight for you to relax in at the end of each day and do some stargazing, as well as a small shower room.
To the front of the property, there is a stone area with a variety of plants and benches, as well as a patio porch area with furniture provided.
To the rear of the property, there is a church which is available for marriage ceremonies.
Brookhall Estate has extensive grounds, with nature trails and beautifully landscaped gardens for guests to wander around.
The century-old pear tree can be found at the side of the property, which expands across the whole of the property wall.
It is famous among the locals, and is regularly visited.
