The house was lovely and very clean and we had lots of towels. Very spacious accommodation and beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing, very relaxing watching the cruisers sailing on the lake, with the outside wood burner able to enjoy the long evenings. A very relaxing and tranquil oasis

The town of Belturbet is located in County Cavan, just one hour and forty minutes’ drive from Dublin, 10 miles from Cavan town, 8 miles from Ballyconnell and nestled halfway between Lough Oughter and Upper Lough Erne. Located on the banks of the River Erne, it has its own marina and is a haven for keen anglers or for those planning a boating holiday. Indeed, the town is considered by many to be one of the best fishing spots in Ireland with direct access to the Shannon-Erne waterway. Adjacent to Belturbet is the impressive Slieve Russell Hotel Golf and Country Club, one of Cavan’s main attractions.
