This detached cottage is down a country lane on the owner’s working livestock farm just a short distance from the village of Ballyhahill in County Limerick. A traditionally furnished cosy County Limerick cottage is superbly located for families and friends to discover this lovely part of the country. The accommodation at this comfortable holiday home near Ballyhahill has an open plan living area consisting of a fitted kitchen where you can prepare mouth watering meals to enjoy in the dining area before adjourning to the sitting area with a glass or two of wine to plan your next day’s activities. Just a little further away is the village of Glin in West Limerick where there is a larger selection of shops and pubs and you can also walk along the attractive pier or take time out to visit the castle. You can also visit the heritage village of Adare, with its medieval monasteries, historic buildings and lovely thatched cottages. Further afield from this traditional cottage in County Limerick is Ballybunnion where there are lovely walking trails and, of course, the beach to relax and maybe spot a dolphin or two. There is also a golf course if you are feeling particularly energetic! Just a short drive away is the ferry port of Tarbert where you can visit County Clare and marvel at its wild coastlines, look at the spectacular Cliffs of Moher and visit the fabulous Burren National Park.
