The property

Bright, fresh and modern throughout, this very special property is set in extensive grounds within walking distance of the seaside village of Ballyvaughan.

This superb, detached holiday home is set amongst spectacular countryside, and has been beautifully furnished and offers a contemporary design for a family reunion to remember.

The owners have thought of everything to ensure this fantastic holiday home provides a very comfortable stay.

Enter into the spacious hall with staircase sweeping up to the first floor, where six of the seven bedrooms can be found and each room enjoys their own private bathroom or shower room.

Offering luxury for every member of your party, many of the bedrooms provide the flexibility of a king-size double or twin beds on request, plus three of the rooms can have a single bed added to accommodate a third person.

Many rooms also come with country views, meaning you can wake in the view of your peaceful, picturesque surroundings.

The hub of this excellent holiday home is undoubtedly the spacious and sleek kitchen, where you can create culinary delights before settling over dinner to discuss the events of the day.

The sitting room features plenty of space and places to sit and opens into the dining room on one side.

The separate conservatory has lovely long-distant views over the garden across the beautiful surrounding greenery, where you can enjoy a little quiet time.

Outside you’ll find large lawned gardens all around the property, where you can settle with a picnic or let the little ones stretch their legs.

Treat yourself to an alfresco drink, relax on the garden furniture and, or head into Ballyvaughan and enjoy the welcoming restaurants and local inns.

There are plenty of beautiful walks to enjoy across The Burren, along with cycling, rock climbing and an array of watersports to try, whilst the spectacular Aillwee Caves are just a few miles from the property and a must visit whilst staying in the area.

Galway City is perfect for a day trip where you’re sure to enjoy its beautiful architecture, museums and galleries, with the local pubs ringing with live, traditional music.

The village of Ballyvaughan on the shores of Galway Bay is situated in the Burren, County Clare. Historically, Ballyvaughan was a fishing and farming village, but today visitors are drawn to the village for hillwalking and cycling. Ballyvaughan has a farmers’ market, gift shops, traditional inns and restaurants, plus many events take place each year, including classic car rallys. The beach at Bishopsquarter is close by and boasts sailing and wind surfing. The area around the village has beautiful flora and fauna, many kinds of orchids, and a variety of wildlife. Within driving distance is the city of Galway, the Poulnabrone Dolmen burial tomb, the stunning Cliffs of Moher and the breathtaking Burren National Park. There is plenty to see and do at any time of year.
