Resting within an endearing location, is this detached, white stone cottage, located in Ballyvelaghan, near the fishing village of New Quay.

This heart-warming retreat offers a superb base for families and friends alike looking to explore the breathtaking rural countryside of Ireland.

This fabulous property has been completely renovated into a stylish holiday home, with all high-quality furnishings.

Upon entering, you are greeted to brightly-decorated and spacious rooms, including an open-plan kitchen and dining area, boasting a large breakfast bar for families to enjoy a hearty breakfast before beginning the day, with all quality appliances on-hand to help you cook up a storm!

The sitting room offers a place to relax and unwind of an evening, with a range of sofas and armchairs to curl up on and catch up on all your favourite shows, with the woodburning stove to keep you warm during those chilly evenings.

The ground floor also hosts a large double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, ideal for those with limited mobility.

Follow the steps up to the first floor, hosting three further bedrooms: one king-size, one double and one family room housing two doubles, served by two elegantly designed en-suite shower rooms.

To the rear of the cottage is a large balcony area with furniture, overlooking the stunning countryside and sea inlet.

While you're in the area, take a drive towards Aillwee Cave, which boasts a series of underground caves with guided tours, plus farm and craft shops and birds of prey.

Or drive towards Burren National Park, a stunning rocky and cliff landscape with seven walking trails, woodland and an abundance of wildlife to discover.

Return to Sea Spray for a relaxing evening with your loved ones in front of the fire.

About the location

NEW QUAY, COUNTY CLARE

Kinvara 6 miles; Ballyvaughan 6 miles; Burren National Park 12 miles.

This tiny fishing village is situated between the Burren Mountains and Galway Bay, overlooking the harbour. It is home to a safe sandy beach, the famous Flaggy Shore with beautiful flora and fauna, a locally caught seafood shop, an art gallery and shop, and Linnane's renowned Lobster Bar and Restaurant. There are lots of lovely things to see and do, and great days out from New Quay; explore the rock pools on the Flaggy Shore rocks, the seaside villages of Kinvara and Ballyvaughan are a short drive away, there are several championship golf courses close by, as well as sandy beaches great for bathing, and lovely scenic walks and green roads. A little further afield, visit the seaside village of Lahinch on the shores of Liscannor Bay, the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Galway, the Aran Islands, Connemara National Park and Bunratty Castle. This quiet village is a great place to relax and enjoy the delights of the area.
