  • “It was an absolute pleasure to have met Mary and Tommy and stay in their cottage for a week.”

Not only did we get lucky with the weather (sunshine and around 28C every day) but also to have them as our hosts for the week. Both made sure that we had everything we needed. Didn't hesitate to provide us with extra water (when a nearby pipe burst down the road) or take the cloths off the line before a thunderstorm soaked them (we were out at the time). Always have happy to help and chat after a long day. The occasional visit from their lovely dog Wishbone rounded up this perfect experience ...

Always have happy to help and chat after a long day. The occasional visit from their lovely dog Wishbone rounded up this perfect experience. Really wish we could have stayed longer. The cottage is located a bit off the main roads but if you get there by car you can explore almost anything in Clare within 30 mins. Cliffs of Moher, Kilrush, Doonbeg, Ennis. Almost anything is not further than half an hour drive away. If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Clare, THIS is the one.
