The property

This lovely end-terrace cottage is set in the heart of the seaside town of Kilkee, in the County Clare.

Boasting breathtaking views of the sandy Blue Flag beach, as well as the swirling ocean, the comfortable accommodation on offer at this property provides a cosy break away at any time of year.

Nothing can beat a hearty Irish breakfast in the morning and this cottage has the ideal space in which to enjoy one, with the open plan living area making a great social space for enjoying meals and planning your day’s adventures.

First thing in the morning, why not take a stroll across the road for an exhilarating morning dip in the ocean?

Indeed, Kilkee’s well-deserved reputation as the safest spot for bathing in Ireland makes this an invigorating way to start your day.

On the doorstep are plenty of restaurants, shops and pubs for you to sample, whilst the lovely little patio area at the front allows you to watch the waves gently lap the sands, whilst reminiscing about the hidden gems you have discovered that day.

Further afield, there’s so much more to see and do, so pack a picnic, jump in the car and head off to discover the amazing scenery of the ever-popular Wild Atlantic Way.

Tour the Loop Head Peninsula for spectacular coastlines and the famous Loop Head Lighthouse, whilst the gorgeous Cliffs of Moher are another wonder to behold.

There are also panoramic views of the superb sea cliffs and amazing scenic walks on offer in this area, making Sea Warrior a great base for a memorable holiday beside the sea.

Kilkee is a charming seaside town on the western coast of County Clare overlooking the mile-long horseshoe bay, with a gently sloping safe and sandy Blue Flag beach that is protected from the Atlantic weather by the Duggerna Reef, which stretches across the mouth of the bay. Kilkee has a well deserved reputation as the safest bathing place in Ireland with bathing and swimming enjoyed at all stages of the tide. The Kilkee Surf School runs surf camps for children aged 9 to 16 at Kilkee and Doughmore beaches every week of the summer holidays or why not try Waterworld? A popular all-weather facility, Waterworld has a range of indoor water attractions including a bubble pool, shower geysers, the 'lazy river ride' and a 61m crystal tower slide, and the Thalassotherapy Centre which offers a variety of sea based therapies. The 18-hole championship golf course is situated on the road towards George's Head and stretches along the spectacular cliffs. There are also numerous walks with cliff scenery that can only be described as spectacular. Kilkee has a variety of cafes and restaurants specialising in locally caught fish and shellfish, while the pubs and lounge bars have regular music competitions, traditional Irish nights, cabaret, dancing and pub theatre. Dolphin watching can be enjoyed at nearby Carrigaholt, while activities including sailing, scuba diving, birdwatching and horse riding are available in the area. Something for everyone!
