The open plan living area is perfect for all your social gatherings, where you can enjoy a hearty Irish breakfast whilst planning your day’s adventures, or spend an evening reminiscing about the hidden gems you have discovered that day.

For the more adventurous, stroll across the road for an invigorating morning dip in the ocean.

Your cottage has a range of shops, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep and a lovely little patio area at your front door to watch the waves gently lapping the sands, plus there's so much to see and do slightly further afield.

Pack a picnic, jump in the car and head off on the Wild Atlantic Way to be amazed at the spectacular scenery on offer.

Travel round the Loop Head Peninsula to explore stunning coastlines and the famous Loop Head Lighthouse, while the beautiful Cliffs of Moher are another spectacle to behold.

With its astounding scenic walks and stunning sea cliff panoramic views, as well as all the other excellent amenities that are available in the area, this holiday home is the perfect base for making wonderful memories on your seaside break.

Kilkee is a charming seaside town on the western coast of County Clare overlooking the mile-long horseshoe bay, with a gently sloping safe and sandy Blue Flag beach that is protected from the Atlantic weather by the Duggerna Reef, which stretches across the mouth of the bay. Kilkee has a well deserved reputation as the safest bathing place in Ireland with bathing and swimming enjoyed at all stages of the tide. The Kilkee Surf School runs surf camps for children aged 9 to 16 at Kilkee and Doughmore beaches every week of the summer holidays or why not try Waterworld? A popular all-weather facility, Waterworld has a range of indoor water attractions including a bubble pool, shower geysers, the 'lazy river ride' and a 61m crystal tower slide, and the Thalassotherapy Centre which offers a variety of sea based therapies. The 18-hole championship golf course is situated on the road towards George's Head and stretches along the spectacular cliffs. There are also numerous walks with cliff scenery that can only be described as spectacular. Kilkee has a variety of cafes and restaurants specialising in locally caught fish and shellfish, while the pubs and lounge bars have regular music competitions, traditional Irish nights, cabaret, dancing and pub theatre. Dolphin watching can be enjoyed at nearby Carrigaholt, while activities including sailing, scuba diving, birdwatching and horse riding are available in the area. Something for everyone!
