An attractive, detached cottage resting in Killimer near to the town of Kilrush, Paddy's Haven is a large holiday home perfect for a family break to County Clare in Ireland.

Enjoying a large garden, ground-floor living and a home from home ambiance, The Cottage is perfect for a break with family or friends.

Make your way into the property via the utility room, home to the washing machine and tumbler dryer, with a cloakroom off here too, before heading into the open-plan living space.

Sink into the corner sofa before the TV, sit at the dining table to play a board game from the large selection, or perch at the breakfast bar to supervise the chef of the group as they prepare the evening meal.

A beautiful sun room can be found off here looking out to the pretty garden, perfect for getting lost in a book taken from the shelf.

Children will love playing in the Wendy house in the garden, with a large garden Connect 4 game and table tennis to enjoy too, along with a patio area with plenty of seating for summer dining alfresco.

When the night draws in, discover two bedrooms lying on the ground-floor both with en-suite shower rooms, comprising of a king-size double bedroom and a twin beneath.

The coastal town of Kilrush is located near the mouth of the River Shannon in the south-west of County Clare. An historic town, one of the listed Heritage Towns of Ireland, Kilrush was once an important Shannon port and is today home to a modern Marina and Heritage Centre. Take a boat trip from the marina and explore the lovely waters of the Shannon Estuary, with its many picturesque riverside towns and villages and resident population of bottle-nosed dolphins! Enjoy a drive along the Wild Atlantic Way, the longest defined coastal touring route in the world, which goes through Kilrush. Alternatively, take a ferry to nearby Scattery Island, a 6th century monastic island featuring the ruins of several churches and a unique 10th century round tower. Kilrush offers supermarkets, traditional pubs, restaurants and an excellent 18 hole golf course, and golfers will also enjoy the Greg Norman designed golf links at the Trump international Golf Course, Doonbeg, which is within easy reach. Just 9 miles away is the seaside resort of Kilkee, which boasts a horse-shoe bay, 18-hole golf course, restaurants, pubs, cafes and good walking routes, and is the starting point for the Loop Head Drive along the rugged Atlantic coastline, offering wonderful coastal scenery.
