The property

This delightful semi-detached cottage is located on the famous Wild Atlantic Way with stunning views over the sea, just three miles from Miltown Malbay in County Clare. This cosy cottage is situated next to the owner’s home and is the ideal place for those looking to explore this scenic region of Ireland. The cottage has flexible sleeping arrangements to cater for different party types. There are two comfortable bedrooms including one with triple bunks, and a sociable open plan living area with a small kitchen, dining area with sea views and a sitting area with a sofa bed. Step through the French doors to enter the light and airy conservatory, the perfect place for everyone to get together and catch up. Outside, guests have use of the owner’s large garden dotted with sculptures and boasting glorious sea views, together with a few resident pets who may wish to say hello. Why not enjoy a barbecue or a meal alfresco style? Walkers will delight in the headlands which overlook the sea, only 550 yards from the property. The town of Milton Malbay has a wide selection of shops together with many restaurants offering local seafood on the menu. For those who wish to sample some traditional Irish music, there are plenty of traditional pubs here too. Lahinch and Quilty are also nearby and worth a visit. Outdoor enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice, with a wide range of activities available nearby including, surfing, fishing, and golf courses at Lahinch and Doonbeg. There are sandy beaches at Whitestrand, Lahinch and Spanish Point and the magnificent cliffs at Moher are not to be missed. For those who like fishing, the owner is a well-seasoned fisherman happy to share his knowledge with you. This lovely cottage is ideally situated with something for everyone.
