The cottage sits on the Mid Clare Way and is just 10 miles from the stunning Wild Atlantic Way, making it a fantastic holiday base for walkers. With five bedrooms across the ground and first floors, including one with an en-suite, whether you’re planning a family get–together or a reunion with friends in a scenic location, you’re sure to be delighted with this comfortable cottage. The bright accommodation comes with traditional furnishings and lots of large windows throwing in plenty of light. There are three reception rooms to choose from, including a cosy sitting area in the open plan living space with an oil stove, which you can settle beside after a busy day. The separate sitting room has an open fire and offers a second place to relax, whilst the study is the ideal destination to curl up with a book or a glass of wine whilst planning tomorrow’s adventure over a traditional board game. Outside, the garden provides the perfect setting for little ones to run around in the sunshine as the adults share a picnic on the neat lawns, whilst admiring the distant views across the sweeping surrounding hills. Should you fancy a night out, Ennis is just nine miles away, where you’ll find a large selection of amenities including restaurants, shops and local pubs offering superb Irish music. Set close to the charming coastline of County Clare, with the lovely beaches at Spanish Point easily reached and Doonbeg and Kilkee just a little further, there’s a range of seaside days to enjoy, whether you’re looking for a lazy day lounging on the sands or something a little more active, with plenty of watersports to choose from. Enjoy dolphin watching at Carrigaholt, just under seven miles west of Kilkee, or spend a day testing out the surf at Lahinch. You can also try sea kayaking, sailing or even paddle boarding!
