The property

This superb country house is situated 3.2 miles from Whitegate, near Lough Derg in County Clare.

With lovely furnishing throughout, this wonderful cottage provides a great base for families and friends with plenty of places to visit nearby.

All five bedrooms are on the first floor, consisting of two doubles, two singles and a twin, plus also on this floor are a bathroom and shower room.

On the ground floor are many places where you can either sit with your loved ones after a busy day exploring the area, or relax in peace and quiet with a good book and a drink.

In the kitchen there?s the warmth of an open fire to keep you warm whilst preparing a lovely home-cooked meal, the sitting room comes with a gas fire and the sun room is to the front of the property, where you can enjoy a tea or coffee in the morning sunshine.

Outside there is a convenience of off road parking, lawned gardens, a patio area, a brick-built barbecue and a gazebo.

On sunny evenings, why not cook a meal on the barbecue before dining alfresco, while you and your party reminisce about the day?s adventures.

The wonderful Lough Derg is nearby, with its many different activities on offer, including fishing, cycling, golf and horse riding, as well as walking and hiking.

Within driving distance is the town of Ennis and the city of Galway, which offer plenty of amenities and attractions.

This delightful cottage is a great base for exploring this part of the Emerald Isle.

Whitegate is just under an hour from Ennis and just over an hour from Galway, an exciting city that is ideal for a day trip away, boasting comedy clubs, theatres and nightclubs for your evening’s entertainment. Galway is also is home to festivals, museums and countless cafes, shops and restaurants, all set beside a beautiful, rugged coastline ensuring that you will not be stuck for things to see and do.
