    “This place was AMAZING!”

So cozy and comfy. I woke up one morning very warm and looked out the window and saw frost on the very traditional looking Irish landscape. The owners were simply lovely and very welcoming.

QUIN, COUNTY CLARE

Ennis 6 miles.

The peaceful and picturesque village of Quin is situated 6 miles east of the town of Ennis, in County Clare. With a small population of around 240 residents, this rapidly developing tourist centre is home to a 15th century Abbey, all year round fishing on the River Rine and an equestrian centre, with a number of stud farms in the area. Two miles from Quin is a 15th Century tower house, Knappogue Castle, which, having been beautifully restored, is open for public viewing between April and October, while medieval banquets are held in the main part of the castle between May and October. County Clare's principal town, Ennis, is just 6 miles away on the River Fergus, boasting a market square and narrow streets dotted with unusual shops, bars and restaurants.
