The kitchen and dining area is perfect for gathering everyone together of an evening and enjoying some delicious home-cooked meals. The cosy sitting room is ideal for sociable evenings in front of the warming open fire, where you can enjoy a steaming mug of hot chocolate and toast some marshmallows. Outside your charming cottage, you have a well-presented lawned garden with furniture, so you can lounge around in the sun and enjoy the fresh Cork air, knowing that the children are safe as the garden is gated with plenty of space for children to safely run free. The village of Adrigole offers a selection of pubs and a good local shop. Adrigole is a small settlement that lies close to Bantry Bay, situated on the Beara Peninsula, and the beautiful coastline is varied, from a combination of rocky cliffs and outcrops to the shallow, peaceful inlet of Adrigole Harbour. Take a walk on the Sullivan Mile, a coastal walk that is dedicated to the five Sullivan brothers who lost their lives serving on the USS Juneau and stop for a drink at the Wild Atlantic Bar which serves food during the summer. The natural surroundings make it a haven for hill walking or cycling. It is also worthwhile to take a trip to Hungry Hill, the highest of the Caha Mountains; this towers over Adrigole Harbour and Bantry Bay and boasts the highest waterfall in Ireland. Further afield, you will find the village of Glengarriff, famed for its natural beauty; here you have a varied selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Also easily accessible are Castletownbere, Bantry and you could always take a day trip to Cork city and Killarney, where you can enjoy some of the prettiest scenery in Ireland.
