“The place was beautiful and set in an idyllic location.”

Very peaceful and tranquil. The only major concern we have is the drive leading up to the property. It's very steep but also uneven and dips in places and a few humps. Very worried about the front of our car and this may have caused some damage. Ann the owner was very helpful and quick to reply to any messages thank you

“We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in lovely accommodation set in an idyllic location.”

The owner was most helpful and overall the accommodation provided excellent value for money. There were no issues with the Irish government's tracking and tracing for Covid19 which may have affected our vacation. I would strongly recommend others to book this through Sykes in the future

“What a holiday we had.”

The view from the house was breathtaking and it was so nice to eat meals outside overlooking the lake. The house was very spacious and clean and loved reading in the sunroom. Location was perfect there were some beautiful beaches nearby. With trips to mizen head garnish island glengariff to kayaking and water sports in Kenmare each day was full of fun and amazing views. My parents came with us and we had out two sons ages 10 and 16 that loved the week and asked would we be going back any time soon. We will definitely be back in the near future.

“House is in a lovely location with gorgeous view.”

Very clean. Key collection easily arranged. House was ready for us early which was a great relief as travelling with 2 young children Manager of property was available if any issues. Good facilities and spacious. Would highly recommend. Villages of Ardgroom and Eeyries both very picturesque and worth a visit.

Being based on the Beara Peninsula, drive down to Castletown-Bearhaven and get a ferry over to the vibrant island of Bere.
