The property

Cahir 6.5 miles.

Originally a dairy with an overhead loft for herdsmen it was used entirely as living quarters from the early 1900’s.

It has been refurbished to a very high standard giving this storey & half you comfort, warmth and relaxation.

The living area with exposed stone wall and wood burning stove is full of character along with a traditional style kitchen/dining area including solid wood kitchen units.

The stairs lead you to an open landing of which two bedrooms and toilet/shower room are situated.

This house can sleep a maximum of four people, complimented with quality furnishings throughout including anti-allergy bedding and offering you a perfect Irish countryside experience giving an ideal base to explore Ireland.

Cahir is one of County Tipperary’s designated heritage towns and is a popular base for tourists to discover this region of Ireland. It sits on the River Suir and is home to Cahir Castle which is a beautifully preserved defence castle and is open daily to the public. There is a small shopping precinct in the town as well as a range of pubs and restaurants. For the more active, Cahir has a leisure centre with tennis courts and a mountain biking track as well as a local golf course. Close to Cahir are the Galtee and the Knockmealdown Mountain ranges which offer a variety of walks for all abilities. A lovely area to visit, all year round.
