The cosy sitting room has a multi-fuel stove which is lovely to relax in front of at the end of a busy day. This room leads through to a dining area where you can enjoy delicious home-cooked meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and then share stories of the day. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, a double and a single room and a bathroom. In Cahersiveen you will find a number of restaurants and pubs to treat yourselves to a night off from cooking and many unique craft and antiques shops. For an adventurous day head down to the marina and have a go at some watersports or sailing! A short drive away is Portmagee where Star Wars fans can take a boat trip to Skellig Michael and the Skellig Islands which was used as a filming location for “The Force Awakens”. It is easy to see why as the scenery is stunning. This part of Ireland has some wonderfully picturesque areas on offer with beaches, lakes and woodland to be found on the Iveragh Peninsula and there is the Ring of Kerry to discover.
