“Having read a very negative and recent review I was concerned.”

However it was cleaner than I expected. Apart from questionably clean linen, the bin was so full a big heavy rock was placed on top to kept the lid closed and the smell was foul. We had nowhere to put our rubbish. Some neighbours let us know when to put the bin out for collection the day before we left - which we did and it was so foul dragging it through the house. But. It’s a lovely house and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the fire and were very grateful when the grass was cut ...

Castletownsend is a lovely quiet town and there’s a lovely pub right across the road from our house.
