The house is a wonderful period home which exudes plenty of olde world charm.

Step into the hallway and take in the abundance of social spaces to enjoy as a family including a charming morning room and a welcoming snug, both of which have woodburning stoves to add to the character of the dwelling.

There is also a drawing room, with dining table for 10 and plush seating which may become the social hub throughout your stay.

The property benefits from both a kitchen/diner and a kitchen/utility, meaning there's plenty of space to cook up a storm for your loved ones, as well as washing facilities for your clothes and a handy dishwasher to help with the cleaning up after dinner.

When sleep calls, choose from five well-appointed bedrooms on the first floor.

There is a super king-size and a twin with Jack and Jill access to the bathroom.

There are two more super king-size bedrooms both with their own bathrooms and a king-size double with it's own shower room.

Completing the interior is a sleek bathroom with both a bath and a walk-in shower, giving you the option to indulge in a long soak with a good book or a quick rinse after an adventurous day.

Make the most of the outdoor space at the property and take your dining alfresco with plenty of patio furniture available, while your four-legged friend stretches their legs on the lawn; the garden is mature and lined with beautiful shrubberies, making the most of nature in every season.

There are lots of grounds available to enjoy for reading and spending time on your own as well as time for meditation if required.

Golf courses to enjoy are at Castle Bernard and at the Old head golf course.

More outdoor adventures can be found at the Dromkeen Wood Forest Walk, which is just a short and scenic drive from your home-from-home.

Take a trip to the Kinsale Equestrian centre or eventake part in plenty of walking, fishing or sea kayaking.

A great day out would be to Harbour View Beach or Garrettstown Beach for yourself and your pets to enjoy even taking part in windsurfing or kite surfing.

Animal lovers will be pleased to find Rumley's Open Farm within easy reach of the property, while those looking for a livelier atmosphere can make their way into the city of Cork.

Cork is home to the fascinating Cork Public Museum, where history buffs can brush up on their local knowledge, as well as the Cork City Gaol, which offers an insight into the history of Cork's largest prison.
