We did not want to leave, but knew that the power issues (no electricity to fridge etc) made it difficult to stay. Sykes offered several options including a full refund or staying in another cottage. The communication was poor on the day of arrival as the key holder did not provide the code to the key safe and was unavailable to sort out the problem with fuses. We had a visit from a neighbour who sorted it out next morning but it was a fraught beginning. PJ is friendly and will give excellent advice on what to do, places to see. On balance we would return as similar problems could be solved more quickly with the right people involved.
