The property

In the small town of Faha in the scenic County Kerry, attached to the owners' beautiful home is this amazing annexe, Rosnacarthna More Apartment.

Boasting exposed beams, high ceilings and a feature stone chimney breast, this property is full of character, while being finished to contemporary degree, this property is ideal for couples or a small family.

Walking into the property brings you straight into the open-plan living space, where you'll be immediately struck by the grand high ceilings and exposed beams and the overall stylish layout.

The dining area sits opposite the enormous stone chimney in the centre of the room, which holds an electric fire, and beyond this lies the well-equipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer tucked away behind fitted doors - those self-catering essentials!

Moving to the other side of the chimney, and past a real woodpellet stove, into the sitting room there is a three seater sofa and an armchair, perfect for sitting down together with a glass of wine while the fire roars.

The bathroom is spacious and bright, hosting a bath and separate shower, so if you have time between your adventures, you can have a soak in the tub to really unwind.

Follow the winding wooden staircase up to the first floor to the bedrooms; a double and a twin, both with excellent bright decor making it a wonderful place to wake up and start the day.

Access the garden through the patio doors in the sitting area and find a large outdoor table and chairs set on the patio, looking out to the enclosed lawned garden, where you can watch the kids play or let the dogs out for a run around.

The spectacular mountainous country of Killarney National Park is close by, you will have to dedicate several days of your holiday wandering over this unspoiled landscape; it is home to McGillycuddy's Reek, the highest mountain range in Ireland rising to 1000 metres, as well as the Killarney lakes where you can see the surrounding beauty from the water with boat tours in frequent operation, as well as the ability to acquire a permit to kayak or canoe in the lakes.

Rosnacarthna More Apartment is a gorgeous property to bring your loved ones to, with opportunities to see the best of Ireland in all its glory.
