A spacious dwelling surrounded by a plethora of exciting activities and historical landmarks, this attractive abode offers a fantastic base of which families or groups of eight can explore the true delights of southwest Ireland.

As you arrive at the property grab your bags from the car, open up the lovely navy blue door and wander into the warm embrace of the airy hallway, where you can take place down your bags and take off your coats and shoes as you admire the striking pine staircase.

Snuggle up on the plush leather sofa or curl into one of the traditional armchairs, gathering together in the sitting room to watch a blockbuster movie on the TV whilst staying nice and toasty from the heat of the solid fuel stove.

Take to the kitchen to prepare a hearty home-cooked meal using all of the contemporary appliances that sit within the attractive white kitchen units, topped with pretty oak worktops, before serving up in the sociable dining room and indulging in a fabulous family feast.

After a wonderful afternoon stroll through the countryside, head the the handy utility room and put your mud-splattered clothes in the washing machine before cleaning yourself off with a powerful shower in the ground-floor shower room.

Make yourself at home in the ground-floor doubles, each decorated with lovely neutral tones and complete with a charming wardrobe where you can unpack your belongings.

If staying in the luxurious first-floor double you can get ready for a night of wining and dining in style with a refreshing wash in the en-suite shower room, before picking out clothes for the evening from the spacious walk-in dressing room.

If planning a quiet night indoors, why not indulge in a relaxing soak in the bathtub, located in the fully tiled family bathroom up on the first floor.

Completing the first floor is another homely twin, great for tucking up the children and sending them off to sleep with their favourite bedtime story.

When you can tear yourself away from this outstanding cottage, begin with trips to the old ruins of Molahiffe and Currans Castle.

Head to Tralee to explore the Tralee Bay Wetlands and Activity Park where you can ride the peddle boats or seeing how long you can stand as you zorb along the waters.

Learn of local history at the Kerry County Museum or enjoy a relaxing game of golf at one of the many nearby courses.
