The owners said this is always the way they do it - if this is always how it is done then why state multiple times that the key collection is arranged through Colin O'Sullivan? The house was very cold and it took a long time for the heating, controlled through the fire, to heat up the house. The bedrooms never got warm and when the heating did get going the noise made by the pipes was deafening! The house was also very damp, especially in the master bedroom, with mould in the bathroom. The email from the owners advised us that there would be a 50 euro damage deposit and that the electricity is via a meter and we would pay for that separately after our stay - it would be good to know this when booking the accommodation as it may have influenced our choice in property.
