The property

This delightful house is situated just 1.5 miles from the County Kerry town of Kenmare.

With views overlooking a river, this lovely cottage is an ideal base for a large family or group friends with plenty to see and do within this part of the Emerald Isle.

Inside you will find six bedrooms, including a double bedroom, as well as a shower room on the ground floor and five further bedrooms and a bathroom are on the first floor.

To the rear of the property there is a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, plus to the front is a dining room with an open fire and there’s also a separate sitting room, again with an open fire.

After a busy day, why not relax in front of the fire and reminisce about the day, or sit with a warming drink whilst planning further adventures to come?

Completing the accommodation on the first floor is a sunroom, where you may wish to enjoy a coffee and a chapter of your favourite book.

Outside there’s two lawned gardens, to the front and back, so on a sunny day spend time dining alfresco with your loved ones.

Kenmare has something for everyone so venture into the town and enjoy the culture, live music in one of the pubs or a meal out.

There’s much to see and do in the area, including the Ring of Kerry, Wild Atlantic Way and Killarney National Park.

A charming County Kerry base.

About the location

Glengarriff 19 miles; Killarney 25 miles.

A picturesque town situated on the stunning Bay of Kenmare, overlooking the gleaming Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful beaches, wildlife and lovely scenery abound here. The coastline is rugged with sandy beaches close by, while pebble beaches surround the bay itself. Kenmare is an interesting town, full of character and colour, with long winding streets setting the scene for farmers' markets, artists' galleries, lovely little boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Ireland! The town is also situated on the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way. The famous town of Killarney has an abundance of attractions, pubs, festivals and its National Park is about 35 minutes’ drive away, and though there is much to see and do here, the pace of life is still leisurely and unhurried. With the Beara and Dingle Peninsulas nearby and the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way to explore, makes this an ideal base for exploring Kerry to Cork. This great location is not to be missed!
