    “A lovely stay, host has thought of everything.”

    We had a lovely week. Perfect for the set up of our family (couple with little boy and 2 grandparents) Lovely 15 minute walk into town which has fabulous food and walks.

The property

Sitting on the edges of Kenmare in County Kerry is this fantastic, detached cottage of Tubbrid Cottage.

Boasting a mixture of water and mountain views, whilst being within easy reach of the finest sights County Kerry has to offer, Tubbrid Cottage makes for an excellent base for two couples or a family of five's holiday!

When arriving at the property, you'll be happy to find off-road parking, allowing you to easily move your luggage into your new home-from-home.

Continue through the cottage to find a tastefully decorated open-plan living space, where a sitting area offers you a seat on the suede sofa in front of the TV; throw some logs into the woodburning stove for some extra warmth!

Move through the space to find the fabulously fitted kitchen, where a great selection of appliances are available and ready for the budding chef of the group to make delicious meals with.

These tasty treats can be enjoyed at either the nearby dining table or over, at the dining table next door or outside on the patio amidst those views; so many options!

In the evening, throw any old clothing into the utility room's handy washing machine and ascend the stairs to find two thoughtfully laid-out bedrooms, the first of which is a king-size enjoying amazing vistas of the area and access to an en-suite shower room.

The family room can be found nearby and comprises of a king-size and a single, whilst also being accompanied by an en-suite; this one boasts a jacuzzi bath with a shower over, where plenty of soothing soaks can be enjoyed.

Be sure to make the most of those pretty views by wandering out to the garden in the daytime, where you can spot the glistening waters of Kenmare Bay.

A picturesque town situated on the stunning Bay of Kenmare, overlooking the gleaming Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful beaches, wildlife and lovely scenery abound here. The coastline is rugged with sandy beaches close by, while pebble beaches surround the bay itself. Kenmare is an interesting town, full of character and colour, with long winding streets setting the scene for farmers' markets, artists' galleries, lovely little boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Ireland! The town is also situated on the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way.
