This attractive stone-built semi-detached cottage is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Beaufort, near Killarney in County Kerry.

The cottage is located next to the owner?s home and will suit families or groups of friends looking to explore this stunning part of Ireland.

This traditional Irish cottage has been lovingly furnished and retains some character features including a stone fireplace and beams.

Entering into the sitting room, guests are greeted with a light and spacious room complete with a cosy woodburner, perfect for curling up in front of on cooler evenings.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for preparing delicious meals.

Also on the ground floor are a comfortable double bedroom and a ground floor shower room.

A spiral staircase leads guests up to a mezzanine bedroom with its stunning mountain vistas.

Outside there is a small patio area, an ideal spot to enjoy a morning coffee whilst absorbing the views of the famous Gap of Dunloe in the distance, and listening to the nearby babbling stream.

Beaufort Village is home to two pubs and a supermarket and has easy access to all of County Kerry?s attractions.

A short drive will take you to the town of Killarney, with its pubs, eateries and craft shops, as well as the historic Ross Castle and Muckross House.

There are walks and cycling routes in abundance across this scenic county.

A little further afield, explore the Ring of Kerry, dotted with towns and villages and with its ever-changing seascapes.

This delightful cottage is an ideal base for your Kerry adventures.

BEAUFORT, COUNTY KERRY

Killorglin 8 miles; Killarney 8 miles.

Beaufort is a small village situated in a scenic area at the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks near the Gap of Dunloe. This is a great location for walking with stunning mountain views. The village has shops, pubs and restaurants, and is situated between Killorglin and Killarney, the latter being a mecca for holidaymakers every year with its wide open countryside, beaches close at hand, annual festivals and great night life, with traditional music played in many of the pubs and bars. A host of activities are available in the area including riding, walking, cycling, golf and fishing, and guided ascents to summit of Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain.
