John “Very clean and comfortable We enjoyed our stay and will return again”
- John, November 2021 -
Mark “The house is amazing.”
Noreen was brilliant. The local council cut the water supply of to the whole area but Noreen came with extra water water for us. Just a great service and a beautiful cottage.
- Mark, October 2021Carolyn “As described the cottage is very rural.”
Castleisland is 10 mins away and Killarney about 30 minutes. As we were exploring this was no issue for us and a good base. Quality of furnishings etc all great and it was very well equipped.
- Carolyn, September 2021Jackie “Our host was wonderful in ensuring we had a warm welcome and everything we needed.”
The cottage was spotless and in a beautiful location. A fantastic week away.
- Jackie, August 2021Kellie “The house is absolutely beautiful and in the peace of the country side.”
We have small children and was perfect for us as the kids had space to run about outside and great space inside too.
- Kellie, July 2021Pamela “How host could not have done anymore for us or been anymore friendlier.”
- Pamela, September 2020Ann-marie “Cottage was immaculate and great location.”
Owners were extremely helpful and lovely to talk too. Will definitely be back and cant recommend this cottage enough
- Ann-marie, July 2020Markus “Very nicely decorated house, all wooden floors.”
Location is reached via a one lane street (no way 2 cars can pass each other, could be a challenge with ice or snow on the road). We arrived in the evening and the house was warm, the fireplace had turf and wood in ready to be lightened (which we did). There were 3 buckets of turf for us. Enough cuttlery, dishes etc. and the basics like salt, sugar and even beyond that. Plenty of towels and blankets. Good mattresses for a good sleep. Noreen gave us a high chair, a cot, a sleeping bag for the baby and bed sheets for the cot. She was very helpful when our kids caught the flue and we had to leave with delay. It was very clean and we felt as home.
- Markus, December 2019Rosemary “Large modern home, beautifully decorated.”
However the fixture that held the shower was broken, making a shower very difficult. The owners were a little slow to respond to two of our concerns. The location was beautiful. We really enjoyed the trad music at a local pub.
- Rosemary, September 2019Karen “We hired a car and you definitely need one as its a bit of a way out from other places but in a lovely quiet area.”
Enjoyed our stay there.
- Karen, August 2019Sean “We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful cottage for 5 nights in May.”
Communication with Noreen prior to arrival was excellent, she was on hand to point us in the right direction. We had no problem finding the cottage. Upon arrival we were greeted with a delicious apple pie, a lovely welcoming touch by Noreen and Tom. The cottage itself is deceptively big- a truly spectacular place to stay with breathtaking views of the countryside. We were lucky enough to watch the many calves on the farm interact with all the other cows. The cottage is well equipped with everything you would possibly need for your stay inside and out. One night we had a bbq and sat on the terrace on the outdoor furniture provided, sipping wine and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. The beds were extremely comfortable, and would be ideal for larger groups as well. Although we didn’t fly there, it is well situated close to Kerry airport. We were able to explore the surroundings of Killarney, Ring of Kerry, Donkey Sanctuary in Mallow (a must do !!!), the caves and Dingle. We were sad to leave and will be returning in the future. We can not recommend this cottage enough.
- Sean, May 2019Caroline “Excellent facilities.”

- Caroline, February 2019Sebastijan “Excellent location with nice view.”
In reach of main attractions of Kerry.
- Sebastijan, August 2018Katherine “Noreen and her husband Tom were fabulous hosts.”
We arrived a little earlier than expected, but Noreen graciously left off what she was doing and met us in an easy to find location so we could follow her to Farm View Cottage. Where we discovered we had a flat tire. Noreen and Tom went out of their way to help us resolve the flat tire situation so that what could have been a disaster is now an amusing story from "Camille and Kate's Excellent Adventure." They were so kind and helpful that the one time we ventured out without our Garmin and almost never found our way back!, I knew that we would be able to call them and they would sort us out. (We managed to find our way back on our own, but knowing we could call them if we had to was comforting.)
- Katherine, July 2018Tim “Wonderful quite house in a beautiful calm area.”
