This charming detached cottage is in the village of Currow, very conveniently situated for Kerry Airport between Tralee and Killarney. With spacious accommodation, the cottage is ideal for a family, friends or couples who are looking to stay in this very popular area. You enter into the main hallway where there are a selection of leaflets and brochures to inspire your days out. The kitchen is very well-equipped with an adjoining utility where you will find the laundry facilities. The dining area is light and airy and has doors out to the patio which allows you to take your meals outdoors if the weather is pleasant. With a welcoming open fire the sitting room is perfect for putting your feet up and relaxing after a busy day. There are two king-size double bedrooms and the family bathroom completing the ground floor which is ideal for any guests who do not wish to use the stairs. Upstairs are the remaining bedrooms, both king-size doubles with an en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe. The master bedroom also leads on to a convenient cot room which is perfect to be used as a playroom. The pretty garden has a lawned area where the children can play and is perfect for socialising with a drink in the evening. There are a number of fantastic shops, pubs and restaurants in the area and there are numerous attractions in the surrounding location. There is a church in the village as well as a wildlife pond. The area is perfect for walking, cycling, fishing and hill climbing. Killarney National Park is very close by with its stunning mountains, lakes, woods and waterfalls providing a fabulous backdrop for walks. Discovering the Ring of Kerry along the Wild Atlantic Way is a must and there are a range of outdoor activities on offer in the area. The small, rural village of Currow lies just 2.5 miles from Kerry Airport and half way between the popular towns of Killarney and Tralee and offers visitors a superb base to explore County Kerry.
