The property

This lovely, detached cottage is situated on a peaceful development within the small village of Banteer, County Cork.

Located just off the main Killarney to Mallow road, this welcoming cottage is an ideal base for touring and exploring this part of the Emerald Isle.

Once inside this single-storey holiday home you will find a large kitchen with dining area, from where you can prepare and then enjoy a warm home-cooked meal with your loved ones.

There are also two delightful sitting rooms, both of which boast a warming open fire, so pick a room and relax dreaming of further adventures to come.

Four bedrooms, including one with an en-suite shower room and a separate bathroom complete the accommodation at this lovely Irish cottage.

Outside there’s the convenience of off road parking for one car, along with a superb enclosed lawned garden, where you may wish to unwind with a refreshing drink at the end of the day, or a morning cup of tea before heading out to experience all that there is to see in County Cork.

The village of Banteer has a shop, Post Office and pub, and close by is the River Blackwater, a haven for fishermen, or you can enjoy walking and cycling through the Blackwater Valley.

Situated just under an hour’s drive north of Cork City is the small village of Banteer, just off the main road linking Killarney to Mallow.
