The property

Rowan Cottage is a welcoming, semi-detached cottage resting near the attractive town of Kenmare in County Kerry, Ireland.

With a welcoming interior and much going on in the surrounding area, this Kenmare cottage is superbly located for a break with family and friends.

Step into the property and be enticed by the bright and airy sitting room, it features comfortable seating, a wall-mounted TV and an attractive open fire to create a wonderfully warming spot to spend your evenings.

The kitchen/diner is excellently equipped, boasting rustic wooden furnishings and a lovely dining table for everybody to enjoy each mealtime together.

The first floor is decorated in calming creams and whites, here you will find the three delightfully decorated bedrooms including one twin room , a single room and a master double bedroom, providing a convenient en-suite shower room.

Rowan Cottage's interior is complete with a pristine, tiled family bathroom.

On the warmer evenings, sit out in your enclosed garden and enjoy a refreshing drink.

A short walk takes you to the picturesque town of Kenmare, here you can explore the winding streets, offering shops, restaurants and a charming farmers' market.

For a sense of refreshment and freedom, take the trip slightly north to the Killarney National Park, graced with breath-taking countryside to be admired.

A picturesque town situated on the stunning Bay of Kenmare, overlooking the gleaming Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful beaches, wildlife and lovely scenery abound here. The coastline is rugged with sandy beaches close by, while pebble beaches surround the bay itself. Kenmare is an interesting town, full of character and colour, with long winding streets setting the scene for farmers' markets, artists' galleries, lovely little boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Ireland! The town is also situated on the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way. The famous town of Killarney has an abundance of attractions, pubs, festivals and its National Park is about 35 minutes’ drive away, and though there is much to see and do here, the pace of life is still leisurely and unhurried. With the Beara and Dingle Peninsulas nearby and the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way to explore, makes this an ideal base for exploring Kerry to Cork. This great location is not to be missed!
