Set all on the ground floor, this cottage is tasteful and stylishly decorated, making it the ideal base for exploring this part of Ireland. The open plan living area is a great space for the whole group to relax with a bottle of wine and discuss their plans. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a solid fuel stove in the comfortable sitting area. After a busy day you can sleep soundly in one of the three cosy bedrooms. Outside, you can take in the picturesque views of the bay from the large garden and listen to the trickling water in the stream nearby. Schull is a popular destination, and the tranquil surrounding area offers many walking and cycling opportunities, making this cottage an ideal location for getting away from it all. In the village you will find friendly, traditional pubs, restaurants, relaxed cafés and a weekly market where you can sample some brilliant local produce to take home with you. Schull is set along the Wild Atlantic Way, a stunning region which has a host of attractions including the signal station at Mizen Head, found at the most south westerly point of Ireland. You can also visit the Marine and Outdoor Equestrian Centre or go off-shore and visit some of the islands off the coast. This part of Ireland is a wonderful area for outdoor enthusiasts as the peninsula is rich in wildlife and archaeology with pony trekking, watersports and the Schull Planetarium to visit on rainy days.This is a charming cottage for a family holiday on this magical island.
