“Great place to stay”

Excellent location to stay, very handy to so many different attractions Dingle Peninsula, cliffs of Moher, ring of Kerry and many more. The house was very comftable with open family room/Kitchen and what we called the quiet room for the Adults.would recommend this house without hesitation .

“Just perfect!”

We loved everything about this house. Apart from the wooden floors upstairs being a bit noisy for those of us trying to sleep on the ground floor (this of course cannot be helped), this house really is perfect. We absolutely loved it! It's got everything you need, it's spacious, it's in a good location close to Killarney, Tralee etc and both Brendan and Lorraine couldn't have been more nicer. The price too was extremely reasonable. All this helped to make our holiday a really memorable one. We hope to come back again some time in the future. Thanks Brendan and Lorraine for everything

“Grand place to stay”

Look no further for a superb base to stay close to the attractions of Kerry,this house has it all,loads of space,large bedrooms with own ensuites,we were a party of 6 adults 1 teenager,from arriving to leaving we had a great holiday in the house,it as everything required to relax and enjoy ,plenty of utensils,2 TVs,spare sitting room,a jacuzzi bath,even a walking wardrobe , highly recommend this accommodation,thank you Lorraine and Brendon for a great holiday.

“great house great location”

myself and my family stayed here for a week from 4/7/2015to 11/7/2015 we found the house to be very spacious and comfortable with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms 3 televisions and all the utensils you would ever need in the kitchen plus loads of kiddies toys should the weather not be great not forgetting the kickass jacuzzi bath which all my family enjoyed.the location was great for exploring the dingle peninsula,killarney national park,the ring of kerry and many other places, tralee is only a 30 minute drive away. we really enjoyed our week here and would highly recommend it.

The property

This delightful detached house is situated half a mile from the quiet village of Boolteens, close to Castlemaine Harbour in County Kerry.

This superb cottage is the perfect base for families or friends who wish to explore this wonderful part of the Emerald Isle.

This lovely property is set over two floors, with three of the four bedrooms on the first floor, including one that provides the convenience of an en-suite shower room, as there’s also a Jacuzzi bath in the main bathroom, ideal to relax in after a busy day exploring the area.

On the ground floor there’s another bedroom and a shower room, along with the choice of two sitting areas.

One of these is open plan with a kitchen and dining area and has a warming solid fuel stove, where you can unwind with your loved ones, whilst enjoying a warm drink.

Alternatively, spend time reading a good novel in the other sitting room, which has a cosy open fire.

There’s patio doors from the dining area that lead onto the lawned garden with patio, where you may wish to dine alfresco, or enjoy a morning coffee before exploring the area.

The village of Boolteens can tend to your basic needs, and walks and cycling opportunities can be found in the close by.

The Dingle Peninsula is within reach, as is the beautiful Killarney National Park, making this charming cottage a great base for your Irish getaway.

The small village of Boolteens is located very close to the Wild Atlantic Way, only two miles from the village of Castlemaine, on the Dingle Peninsula, with easy access to the Ring of Kerry. Nearby Castlemaine offers year-round dining and weekend entertainment in the welcoming bars, whilst the lively town of Tralee is a little further afield, boasting a broad range of amenities, museums, shops and restaurants, as well as a number of great walking and cycling opportunities too. The Dingle Peninsula provides excellent walking and wonderful views, and the long sandy beach at Inch is well worth a visit. A fantastic location, with endless possibilities.
