As the name of the cottage would suggest, there is private access to the River Inny a short walk away which is well known for its salmon and trout fishing.
Nearby is Waterville and this coastal town has a wonderful beach to stroll along, two golf courses to practice your swing on and a fantastic chance to experience the local seafood and a true Irish welcome.
The Derrynane House and National Park are a short drive away and are well worth a visit, as is the beautiful blue flag beach.
The well-known Ring of Kerry takes you on a tour along the Wild Atlantic Way and shows off the awe inspiring scenery of this area.
To see it from a different perspective, take a boat trip out to find the history of the Skelligs.

Nestled between Ballinskelligs Bay and Lough Currane, sits Waterville, the premier coastal tourist centre on the Ring of Kerry. Surrounded by mountains and lakeland, Waterville also offers a fine sandy beach, two golf courses, one being a championship 18-hole course, a selection of restaurants and bars, as well as interesting archaeological remains. Enjoy walks along the wonderful Kerry Way, or angling and fishing on one of the area’s many excellent rivers or lakes. Take a boat trip to the Skellig Rocks, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy fabulous vistas across the bay, coupled with seeing one of Europe’s best-known and oldest monasteries.
