“This is the second time I have used this property and I didn't leave a negative review after the first time as I felt the lack of care was due to the busy summer season but instead of improving the overall care based on other negative reviews this property has got worse.”

Obviously it is a business and I have no issue with that as long as it is run well but this is not. There were no batteries in the tv remote, no instructions as to use the electral items (including the very technical shower systems). No basic cleaning materials like floor cleaner or scouring pads for the trays. The windows are filthy and there are cobwebs in many places, i.e. the corners of the velux windows. No basic cleaning materials like floor cleaner or scouring pads for the trays. The windows are filthy and there are cobwebs in many places, i.e. the corners of the velux windows. In the bedroom we slept in, there were at least 50 flies in the light bowl in the bathroom. There wasn't even toilet roll in all of the bathrooms! Considering this property is so remote it is not acceptable to arrive and have to go straight out to find batteries! For the amount this property cost, this was definitely not what you would expect and although I would give the property itself a very high score, the maintenance of the property is really poor.

Hi Sue, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I am sorry you had issues and disappointed you did not contact me at the time. Although rare, minor issues can sometimes occur, however I have both maintenance and cleaning staff on hand whenever there are visitors staying. Although on this occassion it was not reported and I was therefore unable to address any concerns you may have had, I am always grateful to receive feedback and will continue to maintain the high quality our guests have come to expect. Regards Hugh Property Owner
