    “We had a great stay at Tara House.”

    Michael was extremely welcoming and friendly. The house was fantastic, ideally situated, immaculately presented and maintained. The facilities were excellent and of very good quality. The area around Tara House is beautiful and unspoilt. We have been to Donegal several times over the years but never to The Rosses area. It is stunning. The property

This contemporary detached bungalow is set in the scattered rural townland of Lettermacaward, less than 8 miles from the town of Dungloe in County Donegal.

This cottage is ideal for guests on any age, with a high standard of accommodation on offer throughout, and far-reaching views over the countryside.

There is wooden flooring in every room, three comfortable bedrooms, and an open fire in the sitting room, just right for snuggling up on an autumn evening after a stroll by the coast or through the lovely Donegal countryside.

Situated in the famed Rosses area of Donegal, visitors will enjoy the proximity to the lively town of Dungloe, the mountains and lakes of the Glenveagh National Park, or the secluded beaches of the coastline.

Fishing is in abundance around Dungloe, as is good golfing and a terrific variety of wildlife in the bogs and reed beds.

No matter what the weather, Donegal, and this cottage, offers a warm Irish welcome.

The small village of Lettermacaward is on the beautiful west coast of County Donegal, and is home to shops, pubs and lovely sandy beaches. Dooey Beach is remote and secluded, and has great choppy surf, ideal for watersports. A short drive away, the colourful resort of Dungloe is a renowned fishing area, and offers 130 lakes and rivers for fantastic angling. Dungloe, with its island-studded bay, is a haven for wildlife, fantastic for nature lovers and birdwatchers alike. A little further afield, Glenveagh National Park is a great day out.
