The property

Set just under two miles from Fintown, a quiet village overlooking rugged countryside in County Donegal, is this traditional, detached holiday cottage. Boasting fantastic views and well-situated, this cottage is an excellent base for guests wanting to discover all that County Donegal has to offer. This single-storey holiday cottage has three bedrooms, all a good size and one being situated in a separate annexe with an en-suite basin and WC. In the cottage there is an open plan living area consisting of a kitchen, dining area and also a sitting area and this is therefore the ideal place for gathering together to discuss what adventures tomorrow will bring whilst dinner is being prepared. After dinner, guests can relax in front of the fire before retiring to bed to dream of what you’ll discover on the rest of your holiday in the north west of Ireland. The garden provides the perfect place for enjoying a refreshing drink after a busy day, whilst the little ones have a run around and tire themselves out. Fintown, a charming hamlet, is close by and offers handy amenities as well as some wonderful scenery that can be taken in by a bracing walk or on a fun cycle ride. Glenveagh National Park is the second largest national park in Ireland and is just a little further afield. Here you can find wild deer and enjoy these wonderful surroundings. It is also well worth taking a drive along the world-renowned Wild Atlantic Way. Letterkenny and Ballybofey are both within easy reach and are great for sampling the selection of restaurants and pubs in the areas, as well as enjoying a spot of retail therapy. This is a superb base for you to discover the wild north west of Ireland.
