There are many scenic walks to enjoy from this property, with Donegal's tallest peak, Mount Errigal, framed by pretty countryside on one side, and rugged cliffs and sandy beaches of the Atlantic coastline on the other.

The closest sandy beaches are Bunbega and Magheraclogher, home to 'Cara Na Mara', or Bunbeg Wreck, a boat wreck that ran ashore in the 70s and has become an iconic image of Gweedore.

Keen walkers will appreciate their proximity to Glenveagh National Park, Ireland's second-largest national park and designated Special Area of Conservation & Special Protection, with a 19th century castle, walking trails that encompass the Derryveagh Mountains, Poisoned Glen and part of Errigal Mountain and fishing on Lough Veagh.

Ards Forest Park is another wonderful day out, with varied stunning scenery and terrain, including woodland trails, lakes, rivers and breath-taking coastline.
